Description of Practice and Skills
Jill’s early career focused on commercial litigation, including a clerkship with the Honorable Marilyn Morgan of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California in San Jose. Jill worked for several years at Robinson Wood in San Jose handling business litigation, insurance defense and employment defense matters. After moving to the Roseville area and becoming a mom, she continued her litigation practice part-time at Bailey & Brown, and Knudtson & Nutter. In 2015, Jill made the switch to transactional work at Martorana & Bevier bringing a wealth of litigation experience – and in particular, an understanding of proactive ways to avoid litigation - to her business transactions practice.
Jill prepares business inception, merger and liquidation documents, business agreements, including licensing, merger, and sale of business agreements, leases, loan and corporate governance documents.
